2017 Summer Surf Camp Reservations Are Open!

Rhody Surf specializes in teaching our future professional surfers the basics of surfing in a fun, yet educational group surf lesson.  We start off on the beach to cover the basics with our 'dry lesson' then dive into the ocean, learning how to catch waves.

All students are provided with a beginner-friendly BIC surfboard and Rhody Surf rash-guard or wetsuit included in the price of camp. Our staff has years of experience teaching children the basics of surfing and know that it's safe to say kids pick up surfing a lot faster than adults.

Parents may stay during camp to watch and take photos, or may drop children off but please be on time for pick-up after surf camp is completed. Rhody Surf understands parents' concerns about leaving children unattended and rest assured, all of our surf instructors are helpful, friendly and have CORI clearance.

Surf Camp starts at the Rhody Surf truck for check-in at 9 AM sharp. The youth program runs every summer weekday, rain or shine, from 9 - 11 AM. The age range of campers is generally between 6-14 years old.  We do have limited slots per day to keep within our student/teacher ratio for camp. You have the option of purchasing a Rhody Surf rashguard to keep as a souvenir for $20. If not, a rashguard is provided to wear for each day of camp.

To ensure our award-winning Surf Camp program is safe, informative and personal, we keep our camp sizes small.  We generally have no more then a dozen campers per day and have a 4:1 student/teacher ratio for Surf Camp.  For that reason, the program fills up quickly and we highly encourage scheduling well in advance.
